Divine Dance

You are so lucky! You know what you want to do and that is to dance. Having purpose makes life so much easier to achieve goals because we have direction. It’s almost like you’ve been blessed and given amazing gifts. In time you will come to cherish these gifts and understand their true meaning.

One of the most beautiful things about dance is that it teaches us to communicate. You constantly have interactions with your partner and individuals that watch you. In the dance world there are many people who help us along the way. It is important to be open and ready to receive knowledge in many forms. You will work with many dance partners in your life. There is skill in “listening” with your mind. Take responsibility in responding interactively to the “other half” of you (your partner) so to speak. If you embrace this one concept, it can do wonders for your dancing career.

Most importantly, is your own body. Treat yourself well. In many more blogs to come, I will go over ways to help you to do exactly that. It’s all about balance. The way you move is part of how you feel. The better we feel about ourselves, the easier dance (life) becomes. You are in this dance (life) to create beautiful and memorable experiences.

As young dancers, you have an opportunity to develop your senses, great power and strength just by using your hearts, souls and minds. All are key elements in life and gifts to behold in divine dancers!
