Divine Elegance

On Saturday, April 30, 2016, the Fordney Foundation attended the Emerald Ball, at the Hilton Hotel near the Los Angeles Airport. As you may know, we have a national dance series that involves Junior and Youth dancers and this occurred on Sunday, May 1. But for a little treat and to see some special ‘Ladies of the Ballroom’ perform, we there on Saturday. ‘The Ladies of Ballroom’ is another project the Fordney Foundation is involved in and you can learn all about them and our Pro/Am Junior and Youth dancers by reading any number of blogs posted on this site. To continue, as Marilyn Fordney, Alex Havasi and I walked around and looked at the various dance vendor merchandise, we could not seem to resist this one vendor and what they were selling.

First let me introduce you to Reza and Mehdi, who are excellent at drawing you in, to have a look at the beautiful dance shoes they sell. Their company is called Elegance. And believe me, if you try one shoe on, I promise you, you will be hooked, you will want to try the other one as well, and then, you cannot help yourself, you must have a pair immediately. Yes, these are dance shoes, but some of the styles they sell can be worn as regular shoes too. Elegance carries dance shoes for every occasion. They sell open toe shoes, platforms and mens shoes too.

The craftsmanship in each pair of shoes is of the finest quality and designed for superb comfort. Since 1994, Elegance has had the goal of bringing fashion and style to the dance floor. I love that the shoes have extra-cushioned insoles for ease of movement and maximum comfort. Also, it is a fact, that superstars wear Elegance shoes on stage. Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez wear them on stage in their Las Vegas shows, just to name a couple of stars, but many more do too.

Here is a picture of me, showing you this knock out pair of shoes. As you can see, they are one of a kind. I felt like “Cinderella at the Ball” and in fact, I was at the Emerald Ball, so that qualifies me for this title and have appropriately named these shoes, “my Cinderella shoes.” But, technically, the name of this particular shoe is Godiva Chic in Taupe/Tan. Particularly pay close attention to the bottom of this shoe, it is made of the softest leather you will ever see. These shoes are gorgeous, unique and perfect for dancing in, I recommend them highly for standing out on the dance floor, for sure.

Take a look at Marilyn Fordney presenting awards at the Emerald Ball, looking quite chic, she is wearing the very snazzy and comfortable Black/Lady Godiva shoes. They look terrific on her and both Marilyn and I get many compliments when we wear these beautiful shoes out anywhere.

You can go to the Elegance store for yourself, which is located on 14014 Ventura Blvd., in Sherman Oaks, CA 91423. Their phone number is: 818-788-3216. You can also order their shoes online at: Dancehappy.com and info@dancehappy.com. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Happy dancing from Cinderella at the Ball,
