Fordney Foundation is Proud to Announce the Addition of Central Team Match At the Ohio Star Ball

The Fordney Foundation and Sam Sodano are excited to announce the addition of the newly created Central Team Match to be added to East and West Team Matches.  It is time to give recognition to the dance competitions in the central part of North America, namely in the United States and parts of Canada! The map in the illustration consists of the following and those with as asterisk (*) have competitions in our (Central) Youth series:

United States Alabama Arkansas Colorado Illinois* Indiana* Iowa Kansas Kentucky Louisiana Michigan Minnesota* Missouri Mississippi New Mexico Nebraska North Dakota Ohio* Oklahoma South Dakota Tennessee Texas* Wisconsin*

Canada Montreal* Ontario* Toronto*

The Ohio Star Ball and Fordney Foundation have done it again!  By creating the new Central Team Match, they continue striving for bigger and better platforms to encourage young people to dance.  It is their intention to support the development of youth dancesport all across America and Canada.

Now there are more opportunities and reasons for young dancers to get involved and participate in ballroom dancesport.  Ohio Star Ball hosts Fordney Foundation’s team matches as well as the Fordney Foundation’s Best of the Best Challenge.  Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of the fun, festivities and fabulous prizes that can be yours!  The deadline to enter the Best of the Best is November 6, 2018.

Each time you enter a competition and participate, you not only increase your points, but you also increase your chances of winning valuable prizes at the Ohio Star Ball.  There are at least five comps available to attend in October.  For more information, please feel free to visit our website and go to Youth Series, Information and Guidelines for details.

Prize monies will be given in vouchers and reimbursed with receipts.  Team matches are composed of East, Central and West.  Six couples on each team will be offered First Place Award of $3,000, Second Place Award of $2,000 and Third Place Award of $1,000, a total of $6,000.
