We are very excited to tell you that Fordney Foundation’s DREAM dance showcase is almost here! This dance gala will take place on May 31, 2018, at 6:00 PM at North Hollywood High School located at 5231 Colfax Avenue, in North Hollywood, CA. It is an event that is a culmination of two elementary schools participating in a showcase that brings family and friends together in a lively atmosphere.

Our DREAM professional dancer, instructor/dance teacher, is Erica Arnold, who works alongside the Fordney Foundation. Erica has worked closely with Colfax Charter Elementary School and Woodlake Community Charter Elementary School for the last 12 weeks and has coordinated a fun-filled, dance evening, with entertainment brought to you mostly by our students. There will be raffles, music, professional dancers and much more!

We’d also like to tell you about a very close friend to both Marilyn Fordney and Erica Arnold named, Karen Gross. Karen had reached out to the State of California Senate and invited them to our Showcase. They were unavailable to attend but really liked what the program was about. We were all pleasantly surprised when we received this Certificate of Recognition. Thank you Karen, for this awesome gesture!

If you would like to help our next generation to learn dance, contribute to our DREAM program. Go to and click on the “Donate” tab and scroll down to “Go Fund Me” button or you can send a check directly to the foundation at the address that appears on the website at the end of that page.
