FORDNEY FOUNDATION TEAM MATCH

When the shutdown occurred due to the outbreak of Covid in 2023, the team

match event usually held at the Ohio Star Ball in Columbus, Ohio was halted until

its revival at this years’ Ohio Star Ball. This event is prized by the preteen, teen,

junior, and youth competitive categories that participate. It gives them a chance

to obtain a cash award and to show their dance skill and is a sport like playing on

a football or baseball team. This year we had two teams-- East Coast Team and

West Coast Team. The level of dance performance was so high that these young

dancers move like professionals when they come onto the dance floor. Here are

some photo images of the teams and some candid photos taken during the event.

We are hoping that enough entries for next years at OSB will be sufficient to bring

back the Central Team and the Canadian Team.
