IN MEMORY OF THELMA GIBBONS BECK
Thelma was born in Renton, Washington in 1932 to William and Beth Knox.
She loved dance and eventually founded the Magnolia Dancing School in Seattle. She trained nearly 1,000 performers who went on to careers across the country, some even on Broadway. Her favorite type was Hawaiian dance.
However, as you can see by one of the photos, she enjoyed tap dance. Thelma leaves a legacy of artistry, compassion, and joy in the countless lives she touched.
