100th Birthday Celebration for Beatrice Restifo

The Fordney Foundation was invited to participate in the celebration of Beatrice Restifo’s 100th birthday. This event was held at the North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, California on July 20, 2025. Beatrice Restifo is the president of the Thousand Oaks Republican Womens Federated that have monthly meetings with guest speakers.
Erica Arnold, a titled professional dancer who handles the DREAM dance program in elementary schools and her partner Ari Alexander performed the jive.

Erica’s children, Radion Okunev age 6 and Ziata Okunev age 4 danced the cha cha.
The attendees watched with amazement to see the dance skill that these dancers exhibited and gave much applause at the conclusion of the performances.


Marilyn Fordney, Director of the Fordney Foundation, met Erica Arnold when she was teaching ballroom dance in a Westlake studio and they have known each other for the last 10 years.
The Fordney Foundation sponsors the DREAM Dance Program for Colfax Charter Elementary School in Valley Village, California. This ballroom dance program offers classes on campus and teaches children to Discover, Respect, Express, Achieve, and Motivate by utilizing the art of ballroom dance.
It was a privilege and honor to be part of this wonderful celebration.
