Recognition Award to Fordney Foundation

For the first time since the creation of the Fordney Foundation in 2002, our nonprofit was recognized during the United States Dance Championships held in Orlando, Florida. This is titled the Martin Chiang Heritage Award Championing Excellence in Community Services. It is from the Heritage Dance Foundation and was received on September 6, 2025.

Along with the award is $5,000 that is earmarked for the team matches that will be brought back after the pandemic. These teams (East Coast, West Coast, Central, and Canadian) will compete this November at the Ohio Star Ball that is held in Columbus, Ohio each year. The founder will be attending to personally give the annual Fordney Foundation awards. So, watch that leaderboard on the Fordney Foundation website to see your ranking. Top 10 receive cash prizes. Best of the Best is included and a favorite of this event.
